With extensive experience in the high-technology industry, Gary T. Forbush brings the vision, leadership and management skills necessary to be a leader in municipal affairs. Most recently, Forbush helped lead the ongoing effort to retain citizen voice in municipal government and preserve the 107 acre gravel pit from big box development in East Sandy. In addition to successfully allowing Sandy citizens to vote on the issue as a member of Save Our Communities, Forbush also handled media relations with local newspapers and radio stations covering the issue.
Forbush's career in the high-technology industry includes experience managing and directing multimillion projects for Novell and Comcast. At Comcast, Forbush led the administration and management of $350 million broadband
network build-out in addition to crafting Comcast's business continuity/disaster recovery plan
for the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Games. More recently at Novell, he successfully launched and guided key enterprise projects to revenue while managing multiple product teams. As a consultant in the high-technology industry, Forbush was successful in generating revenue, strengthening business relationships and building strategic partnerships.

Forbush holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of Utah and a Master of International Management from Thunderbird — The
Garvin School of International Management. He lives in Sandy with his wife, Loriann, and his two children.
